Griff Reflects on Slovakia Trip

U18 Colorado Rush player Griffin Dorsey has just returned from Slovakia where he was in camp with the U18MNT for a series of games in the 2017 Slovakia Cup.

"The trip to Slovakia went pretty well. The U-18 MNT was out there to win it and unfortunately we lost to Russia in the final. I played minutes in all four games with a full game against Hungary (T 1-1), 30 minutes against Belarus (W 2-1), a half against Slovakia (T 1-1), and about 70 minutes in the final against Russia (L 3-1). The highlight of the trip was beating Slovakia in pk's to push on to the final. I got the opportunity to take the second pk and scored lower right. Overall it was an exciting, hard, and busy 12 days overseas with a pretty good result," commented Dorsey.

Griff and the rest of the Colorado Rush Development Academy are back in action as they take on local rival Real Colorado on Sunday May 7 at Heritage Park.
